quiz (Saturday, April 30, 2005 - 8:39:11 PM) [Post a Comment]

Your brain: 180% interpersonal, 100% visual, 60% verbal, and 60% mathematical!
Congratulations on being 400% smart! Actually, on my test, everyone is. The above score breaks down what kind of thinking you most enjoy doing. A score above 100% means you use that kind of thinking more than average, and a score below 100% means you use it less. It says nothing about how good you are at any one, just how interested you are in each, relatively. A substantial difference in scores between two people means, conclusively, that they are different kinds of thinkers.

My test tracked 4 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:
free online dating free online dating
You scored higher than 99% on interpersonal
free online dating free online dating
You scored higher than 64% on visual
free online dating free online dating
You scored higher than 64% on verbal

More Irises (Friday, April 29, 2005 - 10:30:19 AM) [Post a Comment]

What a morning.  Raining and raining.  Managed to deliver 2 irises for the iris show.  I had more but between the cats and my own clumsiness several where damaged and thus not show quality.  They had a table for just displaying irises; I displayed some of the iries from my garden that were not entered in the show as well as a display of the paper irises.

I am working on slight improvement of my original irises fold and am coming up with some nice variations.  It can even be flattened to an irises silhouette.  I have made samples of the iris to send to an origami publisher, along with a flying pig, and a fish.

My favorite origami folds are the Jack in the Box by  Max Hulme and the Magic Cube Rose by Valerie Vann.  I enjoy doing studies of origami topics like fish.  I did a search for all the different kinds of fish folds I could find.  One of my favorites is the Singing Fish by Gilad's Aharoni.

origami and irises (Wednesday, April 27, 2005 - 6:01:14 PM) [Post a Comment]

Don ordered dice and he ordered me some origami papers. I am so excited. Also this weekend there is an iris show and I am going to enter some iries. I decided to fold some iris origami folds and well wanted something more like a bearded iris. So i created a bearded iris fold. Don hopefully will take a picture tonight and post it with a story board that shows how to fold the bearded iris. I am really proud of the bearded iris origami fold i created. It is not too difficult to make.
